Golf lessons are available at Macarthur Grange Country Club seven days per week. Lessons cover learning in all facets of the game of golf and are conducted on our state-of-the-art practice facilities and international standard 18 holes golf course. Top golf professional coaches are on hand to assist you in improving your game of golf and help you attain a golf standard you demand.

Junior Golf Academy

As in any sport, taking up golf at an early age allows you the opportunity to develop your skills and attain a high level of proficiency early on in life. The game of golf is arguably one of the most challenging games to master so starting young can help you attain your goals and possibly reach the pinnacle of the game.

Macarthur Grange Country Club is committed to providing high quality golf coaching programs designed to develop the games of junior golfers and provide them the opportunity to pursue their golfing dreams. Macarthur Grange Country Club Teaching Staff are experienced golf tutors with an understanding of that required to nurture golf talent.

Our Junior Golf Programs provide junior golfers of varying ages, ability, and experience a learning experience that is fun and informative including practice drills, lesson notes, target shooting, and competition during the course of the program.

Junior Membership

Junior Membership at Macarthur Grange Country Club opens many opportunities to young golfers to play the game. The cost of membership is inexpensive and allows you access to the many Junior Programs available at the Club.

Encourage Shield Competition

The Encourage Shield competition is an annual event organized by the New South Wales Golf Association to foster junior interclub competition. The event is open to Clubs to offer interclub competition for young up and coming golfers.

Jack Newton Junior Golf Program

The Jack Newtown Junior Golf Foundation was established in 1986 to introduce more young people to the game of golf and to nurture their skills and enjoyment of the sport.

The Foundation activities include a variety of junior golf tournaments, camps and clinics for all levels of players. The Foundation provides assistance to clubs including Macarthur Grange Country Club in the development of junior players.

Talented Athlete Program (Ages 11 – 15)

Macarthur Grange Golf Academy is committed to high quality golf coaching and producing top young golfers. Our coaches are searching for talented individuals who show outstanding ability and wish to take their game to the competitive level.

Juniors for this program need to be selected by Macarthur Grange Golf Academy coaches.

This level offers juniors more intensive tuition and a higher level of competition to those offered the program.

Club Representation at Major Amateur Tournaments

Book a private lesson and receive personal tuition in all aspects of the golf game. Long game coaching covers full swing techniques including wood and iron play. Short game coaching is also available to sharpen up your game around the green for better scoring on the course.

Join our Golf Professionals on the golf course and see how the game can be played and also benefit from their wealth of experience in playing the game of golf. Your round with our golf professional will allow a better evaluation of your entire golf game benefiting you as they pass on ways to lower your golf score.

Learn with family or friends, or join others in a learning program tailor made for beginners or golfers with limited experience. Classes are available mid week and weekends. Book now and make the step towards learning and understanding the fundamentals of the game.

Our Junior Golf Programs are of high importance at Macarthur Grange Country Club and feature numerous coaching programs to develop junior players. Lesson classes are available after school mid week, weekends, and during school term recess.

$10 per session. Saturdays 2-3pm Wednesday 4.30-5.30pm.
